Uttar Pradesh

Love the lilt of this place name on my tongue:

Uttar Pradesh
Uttttttarrrrrr Parrrrrdaysh
Otur Purdesh
Uttar Pardaysh

I also the sound of these other place names in India:

-Banaras
-Madras (my grandfather always wore a light blue turban -unlike most everyone else who wore a turban- that was called a “Lungi Madrasi”)
-Gujarat.
